Do you need financial assistance to get an author or illustrator to visit your school? If so, please check out these handy links to find out more about the grants and funding available to you.
If you know of any grants or funding available for school visits, both in Oklahoma and nationally, please send them to OCAI. If we post your information we'll send you a FREE autographed book from one of our authors or illustrators. Now that's something to smile about! :)
Also, when trying to schedule an author/illustrator visit, many schools team up with their local community for sponsorship, such as grocery stores, banks, businesses. Often, businesses are looking for ways to promote their services AND to help their community at the same time so an author/illustrator visit could be just they type of promotion they are looking for.
